SMS Terms of Service

1. About these terms
TOA Energy ("TOA," "we," "us") operates a SaaS platform that solar installation companies ("Installers") use to communicate with their own customers ("Homeowners") about scheduled solar installation appointments via SMS. These SMS Terms govern the SMS messages exchanged through the TOA platform. By providing your mobile number to an Installer or opting in to receive these messages, you agree to these terms.
2. Who is sending you messages
Outbound messages are sent on behalf of the Installer who scheduled your solar installation. TOA Energy is the messaging platform; the Installer is the sender. Each message identifies both the Installer and TOA Energy.
3. Types of messages
You will receive transactional notifications related to your solar installation appointment, including: scheduling confirmations, availability options, reschedule notices, day-before reminders, and post-installation completion updates. Your Installer may also respond to your replies to coordinate appointment logistics. We do not send marketing messages through this program.
4. Two-way messaging and your replies
You may reply to messages. Your replies are received by the TOA platform, stored, and shown to your Installer so they can respond to you. Your Installer may send free-form messages back to you through the platform to coordinate your appointment. The platform automatically processes the keywords below (STOP, HELP, START, etc.) regardless of any other content in your reply.
5. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your installation schedule — typically a small number of messages around the dates of your appointment(s).
6. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. TOA does not charge you for sending or receiving messages, but your mobile carrier may, depending on your plan.
7. How to opt out
Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT, or REVOKE to any message to opt out. You will receive a single confirmation, after which no further appointment messages will be sent to your number through the TOA platform. To resubscribe, reply START.
8. How to get help
Reply HELP to any message, or contact TOA Energy at support@toa.energy or (XXX) XXX-XXXX. For questions about your appointment itself, contact your Installer directly using the phone number in the message.
9. Consent
Consent to receive these messages is collected by your Installer at the time you provide your mobile number — either when signing a solar installation agreement or by checking a consent checkbox on the Installer's intake or scheduling form. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. To request your consent record or report messages you did not consent to, contact support@toa.energy.
10. Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS is available on major U.S. carriers.
11. Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to opt in to receive these messages.
12. Privacy
See our Privacy Policy (Section 4: SMS and Text Messaging Communications) for how we handle mobile information. TOA does not share, sell, rent, or lease mobile phone numbers collected for SMS purposes with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. The content of your replies is shared with your Installer so they can respond to you, and is retained as part of the appointment record.
13. Changes
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted at this URL.
